Packington Hall stands in 300 acres of parkland which is a remnant of the original Forest of Arden. The Hall and Park are not open to the public, but limited access is now available for small conferences, dinners etc. Within the Park the well known Packington Fisheries offers excellent trout and coarse fishing and The Stonebridge Golf Centre a prime golf and conferencing location.
"The Packington Estate has been in the hands of our family since 1560. The original house which was built in 1693 was substantially altered and extended in the 1770's. It remained almost unchanged until a serious fire in 1979. The house was restored as near as possible to the original and has since been occupied by us and our five children. Although the house is available for functions it remains first and foremost a home."
